To put it simply. The Fusion S heads have a six stage tube preamp, while the Legacy heads do not. Check out our YouTube channel for tons of sound examples of each! YouTube

The NEO IV series have neodymium speakers, while the CX cabinets have ceramic speakers. Both are custom designed and manufactured at our factory in Stockton, California. Neodymium speakers are light weight and often characterized as having a brighter sound compared to ceramic speakers.

4 ohm cabinets have less electrical resistance than 8 ohm cabinets, meaning the 4 ohm cabinets draw more power from an amplifier, producing a louder sound. For example the Legacy 800 puts 400 watts into an 8 ohm cabinet and the full 800 watts into a 4 ohm cabinet.

The trim control is a variable “pad”, which replaces the standard -10db pad found on most amplifiers. This allows you to dial in the perfect input signal for your instrument so you can hit the input stage hard and get the most out of our amplifier’s preamp.
